Founder of “Yota Baron Flamenco Productions,” organizing festivals, concerts, and performances in Amsterdam. A dedicated flamenco singer and teacher, she infuses her work with passion and innovation.

About Yorgos Valiris

Yorgos Valiris was born in Athens, Greece to a family of musicians. His relationship with guitar began at 15 with Greek music. Moved by flamenco, he went to Sevilla in 1982 where he stayed for three years learning the art of flamenco guitar from people like Juan del Gastor, Carlos Herredia, Rafael Riqueni, and especially Pedro Bacan. From Juana Amaya and Farucco he learned how to accompany flamenco dancing.
Since 1992 he lives and works in Amsterdam accompanying singers and dancers in various formations throughout Europe. Recently he has been giving solo concerts presenting his own compositions in international clubs and theaters.
