Workshop Mixed media collages

With the team workshop mixed media collages you create visual compositions of all kinds of images, shapes, texts and materials. Start from your own idea, or be inspired by what you come across in magazines and books. This way you create your own world, mood board or story in which everything is possible: funny, exciting, abstract or absurd!

This workshop is very suitable for teams, because it is always a surprise what your teammates are going to make. Often also what you are going to make yourself! In addition, you also share the magazines and you can help each other if you come across something that someone else is working on. Browsing, cutting, pasting, drawing, etc. also goes well with having conversations or just letting your thoughts wander in the world of your composition.

This workshop is intended to be a fun activity together with your colleagues, but you also learn skills in visualization: being inspired and forming a global idea, then searching, feeling and selecting suitable material and making a composition from it. You will discover that ideas can change over time and that chance and courage can be the best ingredients!

You don’t have to be artistic: the host is an illustrator and graphic designer with an Art Academy background and she will inspire you with all kinds of suggestions that will help you come up with unique, personal ideas.
